Retired CEO, Seneca Capital and Luminent Capital
Gail Seneca’s career in investment management focused on endowment and foundation portfolio management. She founded Seneca Capital in 1988 and Luminent Capital in 2005. She has now retired to devote herself to writing and philanthropy. She currently serves on non-profit boards including the Golden Gate Conservancy, and The Foundation for the People of Burma, which provides effective and ongoing humanitarian relief in Burma and is a major contributor to the cyclone recovery effort. She holds a Ph.D. from NYU.
