Rachel Kleinfeld is Executive Director and co-founder of the Truman National Security Project, an institute devoted to recruiting, training and positioning a new generation of progressive leaders in national security. Kleinfeld previously worked on bioterrorism, homeland security and post-conflict security issues. She continues to consult on building the rule of law within weak states, and has consulted for the World Bank, the Open Society Institute, and other organizations. Rachel has appeared as a commentator on radio and television, and has published in multiple books, as well as in the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal and other papers. A Rhodes Scholar and Truman Scholar, Rachel received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.Phil. in International Relations from St. Antony's College, Oxford.
