Tonight in San Francisco, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Richard Rhodes will be speaking at the Herbst Theatre about his newest book, Twilight of the Bombs: Recent Challenges, New Dangers, and the Prospects for a World Without Nuclear Weapons [2]. Rhodes is a friend of the Ploughshares Fund, having spoken at a recent screening of Countdown to Zero, and is among the foremost experts on the history of the U.S. nuclear weapons enterprise.
The event is sponsored by the Long Now Foundation [3] and will begin at 7:30pm.
