A group of U.S. experts including John Lewis [2], professor emeritus at Ploughshares-funded Stanford University [3] headed Tuesday to North Korea for a trip that is expected to include discussions about the country's denuclearization process. The group is the latest of several private-sector delegations from the United States to visit North Korea. (Ploughshares Fund’s program director Paul Carroll [4] is part of this delegation.)
