Lorely Bunoan
Lorely is responsible for the management of grants and proposals including the most recent transition of the Ploughshares Fund’s application system. Utilizing her knowledge of grants processes and technology background, the online application portal is a step towards creating more efficient work and file management system. With her 20 years of experience in the technology field, her role expanded to include the management and development of the organization’s overall technology strategy and implementing smart changes to the infrastructure.
Prior to joining Ploughshares Fund in 2001, she worked for Risk Management Technologies and Design Visual Communications. Lorely is a Steering Committee member of the Asian Americans Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy (AAPIP) and served as a co-chair of the Mentorship Program that pairs junior members with senior members of the AAPIP community. She is also a member of the Nonprofit Technolgy Network (NTEN) and Technology Affinity Group (TAG) – a membership organization of foundations that promotes the understanding of technology and how it can help its members further its philanthropic goals through its use.
