100 reasons to disarm

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has launched a new campaign to champion the cause of nuclear disarmament and nonproliferation, joined  by Ploughshares Fund board member and United Nations Messenger of Peace Michael Douglas, and American actor Rainn Wilson.  The campaign highlights the Secretary-General's five-point proposal for disarmament.

During the 100 days leading up to the International Day of Peace on September 21st, the UN will issue a reason a day on why nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation are so crucial, via Twitter, Facebook and MySpace.
