David Albright discusses North Korean launch on MSNBC

As North Korea fuels its long-range missile in preparation for launch, David Albright of the Ploughshares-funded Institute for Science and International Security discussed the possibilities of the launch in an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell.  While Albright says Japan’s fear of the missile is “understandable”, he speculates the satellite is relatively unsophisticated.  Meanwhile, the launch is an opportunity to discuss missiles at the ongoing six-party talks.  In the end, he says, the most disturbing aspect of the launch is that, if successful, North Korea may “try to sell it to other countries like Iran or Syria.  We have to worry about proliferation more than the threat of a future launch of a missile.” Watch the video below:
