Ploughshares’ Colleague and POGO Advocate Passes Away

It is with great sadness that we inform you that on Sunday, August 22nd, Ploughshares and the entire nuclear security and good government community lost a dear friend and colleague. Beth Daley served the Project on Government Oversight for some ten years on a number of issues, protecting the rights of whistleblowers and scrutinizing the management of public funds and resources. She was most recently the Director of Investigations at POGO, managing to continue the fight for sound stewardship of public funds while battling the cancer that ultimately claimed her life.
