A 'hot potato' on North Korea?

Nuclear weapons expert David Albright, president of the Ploughshares-funded Institute for Science and International Security, said it was "irresponsible and inflammatory" for National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley to suggest that North Korea may have retained a secret uranium enrichment program on the basis of scant and widely disputed evidence. "It fans the flames of controversy and hands Obama a hot potato," said Albright. The Post article reports that with just 12 days left in the Bush administration, Hadley made the allegation in a speech reviewing the president's foreign policy legacy.
