Global Nuclear Power: France
France has possessed nuclear weapons since 1960.
They currently have a stockpile of approximately 290 nuclear warheads.
French President Emmanuel Macron has said that France’s nuclear weapons should be part of the European defense debate as he as called for a “stronger, more integrated European defenses” in recent years.
