Myriam Sabbaghi

Myriam Sabbaghi is the National Organizing Director at the National Iranian Council, based in Washington, DC. Myriam is also a member of the Ploughshares Fieldbuilding Committee for 2024-26 and is a 2025 40 under 40 Awardee of the Middle East Policy Council. Myriam earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington, Seattle where she majored in Political Science; Law, Societies, and Justice; and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations. She also completed graduate studies at the University of Chicago Divinity School, with a focus on classical Persian literature.
