12 Days of Ploughshares Fund

One of the things that we're proudest of here at Ploughshares Fund is that we are a public foundation. Unlike most other funders in the field, our resources stem from individual contributions rather than a large endowment. In fact, roughly 75% of our annual contributed income comes from individuals who passionately believe that a world free of nuclear weapons is a desirable and achievable goal. We're proud to partner with these individuals to support some of the smartest people in the business.

We know that when it comes to giving money away, there are a lot of choices. And many people make their decisions around the holidays, for both tax reasons and because it is indeed, the season of giving. 

Riffing off the well-known holiday tune - the 12 days of Christmas - today we're launching the 12 days of Ploughshares Fund. From now until Dec 24th, we'll be featuring a daily reason why Ploughshares Fund is worthy of gifts this year.
