International Outcry over North Korean Missile Launch

Experts from around the world, including many leading Ploughshares Fund grantees, condemned the launch yesterday of what is believed to be North Korea's long-range Taepo Dong-2 rocket satellite carrier.  The Arms Control Association called it a "confrontational move that undermines stability in the region and makes progress in the six-party talks on that country's denuclearization more difficult to achieve."
