Overcoming the barrier of fear

Trita Parsi offered an assessment of the status of the nationwide protests in Iran on the Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC.  Parsi, president of the National Iranian American Council (NIAC) said that the fact that the demonstrations were continuing "in complete defiance of the Supreme Leader's order shows that Iranians "have challenged his authority and overcome the barrier of fear.  At this stage, it is more accurate to say that it is Khamenei who has misread the situation."
