Ploughshares Fund and Joe Cirincione honored in Moscow

Ploughshares Fund President Joseph Cirincione was recognized for his "achievements in the area of WMD nonproliferation" by the PIR Center in Russia at a ceremony marking the organization's 15th anniversary. 

Also honored were President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, who presided over the denuclearization of that country, and Dr. Mohamed El Baradei, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
