Ploughshares Fund's Paul Carroll discusses North Korean launch

Ploughshares Fund Program Director Paul Carroll analyzed North Korea’s recent missile launch on the KPFA Morning Show.  Carroll commented, “We need to keep in mind that this is not the Cuban missile crisis.  The more important issue with North Korea is their nuclear activities, which is hardly being discussed during media coverage of this launch.” President Obama condemned the launch during a speech in Prague, while Japan called for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. The Council failed to issue a resolution condemning North Korea.   Listen to the interview below.
