The First 100 Days: Forum

The Atlantic has published a special report on President Barack Obama's first 100 days in office. Ploughshares Fund President Joe Cirincione is featured in the Forum section discussing the foreign policy achievements of the new administration.  

Cirincione comments, "In London and Prague, Obama began the transformation of US nuclear weapons policy. Now, the challenge is to implement this vision. Overcoming the dwindling band of nuclear Neanderthals clinging to cold war arsenals will be the easy part. Harder will be overcoming the cynicism in media and policy circles and the incrementalism of some of his own officials."
