Ira Helfand: It can be done

Ira Helfand, the past president of Physicians for Social Responsibility, a Ploughshares Fund grantee, describes to CNN the growing threat of nuclear war, the potential damage of such an event, and the necessity of abolishing nuclear arms. Helfand, confident about disarmament said, “These bombs are not some force of nature. We built them and we can take them apart.”
