October events in Portland and Seattle

Ploughshares Fund and Win Without War tour the West Coast

Stephen Miles will join Ploughshares Fund in Portland and Seattle for his first-ever West Coast tour to share how he and Win Without War are working with policymakers, experts, media, and advocacy groups to advance national security and foreign policies that make us all safer.

Given the Pacific Northwest’s historical connection to the production of our country's nuclear weapons, and that Seattle is home to the third-largest nuclear arsenal in the world, area residents have a unique perspective that can help shape the conversation around national security and nuclear policy.

To be a part of the conversation, please join us for one of the following public talks:

National Security in Turbulent Times
Stephen and fellow nuclear policy expert and Ploughshares Fund Program Director Michelle Dover will discuss the current state of US nuclear policy, the fight to diversify the voices making crucial decisions about our national security, and how each of us can be advocates for a safer world.
