Selig Harrison discusses North Korea on the News Hour

On PBS’s News Hour, guest Selig Harrison of the Ploughshares-funded Asia Program at the Center for International Studies discussed North Korea’s recent refusal to participate in nuclear talks after a rebuke from the UN Security Council.  Harrison commented, North Korea “said very explicitly that if even one word of criticism of their missile launch came out of the United Nations, they would discontinue the six-party negotiating process.”  While bilateral talks with the U.S. have not been ruled out, Harrison believes it may be “one of the first big foreign policy mistakes of the Obama administration.” Watch the video below.
